I REALLY like that first one. I don't suppose you have it cropped out a bit more?

I didn't get a chance to stop when we drove through Bastrop about 6 weeks ago... wish I would have.

Thanks. That is the only frame. I think it is an uncropped scan from the negative. If you have suggestions for a crop, I'd be interested.

The first and the third images really catch my eye. For me the third image has the most emotional impact. It feels like a ghostly rendering of a ghost forest. Sad and mysterious at the same time. Very nice indeed

I really like #3. The fog gives it a very dream like and surreal quality.

Actually, I was hoping for the reverse - something wider. But if that is all you have, it is all you have. I still like it. I was just thinking that if you had more of the burned out area, it would make it a totally different picture. More of a futility or struggle instead of a renewal type message.

No criticism at all - just thinking you could get 2 "messages/meanings" out of 1 capture.

I really like the first one... Rising from the ashes.

I really like the first one. I, like Nathan, was thinking that a wider angle of it would really emphasize the story to me. The third one is very nice as well.

Really like the first one, the contrast of colors are great. Should be titled "Out of the ashes"
