Let me have the C/C. We visited the Hill Country during spring break and I was experimenting with water pictures at slow exposures. Which ones do you like best and why? What can I do to improve?

They're nice :) Pedernales State Park is pretty neat, isn't it? It's always been really dead when I've been there, it's good to see it sort of greened up a bit. These are nice shots :)

The last one is my favorite. The color is great and the water looks so soft.

I like the second one because of the variety ie. greenery, rocks, etc. It would be better if you got down on eye level. Slow your shutter speed to 15 or less for really smooth water.

The first one is too hot (lighting).

Keep practicing!! It's how we get better!!

Overall, like the photos. I'm new to this so don't have much to base my opinion on. The light areas seem to be close to washing out. I have the same problem with my pic's. Can anyone give some suggestions on how to get more detail in the highlights without making the dark areas black puddles?

Thanks,
