Thanks, Mike.
That's the result of manually blending 3 different RAW developments from a single exposure. Those shadows in the Canyon get rather dark when you properly expose for light cliffs in full sun. Normally I'd prefer blending multiple exposures, but I was too lazy to lug the tripod up the side of the cliff. I certainly regretted that decision.

I hear ya Brad. They're reminding me that I need to find a way to get out there more often! I could go back to some beautiful landscapes from backpacking trips in Washington but they're not 06 and I'd have to scan them! Here's a couple from a quick backpacking trip in Aspen. It rained almost the entire time (Kudos to Canon, cuz my gear took some serious abuse!) Unfortunately very little good light, but here's a few... couldn't decide if I like the grainy BW or the slightly xprocessed one of the Aspens. Oh, and one of me... try to get warm and dry! (Where's a man when ya need one! )

Wow.. There's a lot of great images here.

Here's a few from '06. I have a ton more but I haven't processed or uploaded them yet. I have more files than I have time to deal with

Or maybe yours!

Darlin'... any time you want to take a backpacking trip you just let me know! It frustrates the heck out of me that I can never get anyone to go beyond talking about it and get out there to do it!

Don't know if this qualifies, but I'll play. I'm sending this one to Mpix for printing on their B&W paper at 10x20. Might even have them frame it.
