Why I always carry a camera - 01-04-2007, 10:08 PM


Today it rained most of the day here in Southeast Texas, however around 5:30pm the sunset turned out beautiful. Heres one where the sun is just peaking over Port Neches. This is one reason I always have a camera nearby. Taken with my 20d and 16-35 2.8. Comments?

well, you now understand why i've done the same for as long as I've had a digital! Great catch! A good balance of deep color and well exposed foreground. That reflective stuff can spoil things easily.

I did several exposures and shot raw. This one was the one I liked best and did minor adjustments to it. I used the pop up flash on the camera to get exposure on the sign. It worked really well. Look for another in a few days.
