Still playing around after work. Jack did not seem impressed by the Lensbaby, but he was a good sport about having his picture taken.

Hi Christian,

Nice portraits of Jack. Nice, sharp sweet spot and good placement. I like the more subtle selective focus that you have used here. Was it f/5.6 or f/8.0? Sometimes when photographers are just starting out with a Lensbaby, they go for maximum blur on many of their shots. After seeing thousands of Lensbaby photos, I've come to appreciate the lighter touch.

I just realized that you also posted the red fire hydrant. Are you sure Jack did not take that shot. . . .maybe after a long car ride? That hydrant photo looks like dog vision to me:)

Actually it was f/4.0. Each of the pictures here is a vertical crop out of a horizontal image, so the more blurry parts of the image are cropped out. These were taken less than 100 ft from the fire hydrant.
