Try Google for DF-383 Reviews. B&H sells it and there are two reviews to check out. It's probably too new but according to one post, it does resemble another brand name. I sure hope that it does not have the proprietary PC synch port that Vivitar is infamous for.

According to the specs listed at B&H, it does not have a PC sync port, but it does have wireless slave capability. One can always use a shoe adapter with a sync port if one really needs it.
