Lighting GTG in Denton - 08-12-2009, 12:48 PM

I have had some TPF members with questions about lighting and some others that are interested in purchasing some used studio lights that I have. I have decided to have an informal Lighting Q&A/Garage Sale this Saturday. I will be here from 8:00 a.m. until mid-afternoon. This is open to anyone that wants to drop by. If you are having problems with lighting, bring your gear and I will try to help you out. There is no charge for this unless you purchase something.

The address is 2729 Claydon Dr. Denton 76207 however it is a new housing development and Google and Mapquest haven't found us yet. We are a couple of blocks East of I-35 and just North of Hwy. 380. My cell is 940-390-2403. Call for directions and to let me know you are coming.

You know what, Don, we should start a "National Open Your Studio Doors Day" every year to any one interested in photography.....

Are you kidding me?? Photographers from other states would never consider doing this. It's a Texas thang!

Hmm...I might have to take you up on that, I need to get new tires though, if that doesn't take too long I'm there.

No one has called me to say they are coming. I need to know if I am hanging around for nothing. Cell 940-390-2403

Here are the directions to 2729 Claydon Drive from I-35 @ Hwy. 380:
Travel North (towards Oklahoma) on the I-35 Service Road You will pass a service station and a Cracker Barrel.
Turn right on the second street (Windsor Drive)
Turn left on the first street (Clarendon) and drive 2 blocks to a T intersection.
Turn left at the T intersection (Westglen) and drive one block to my house. They are preparing to pour a new foundation next door to my house.

Sounds great! Hubby said something about doing the balloon festival in Highland Village that morning, but the launch is at 7a. I really want to come after that.

I would love to come up there and pick your brain too, but just over a 3 hour drive for me... Now if you were having a 2 day business seminar/photo shoot/teaching, I would definitely come up....
