There's also a couple of good books out there worth the read if one is looking for more info on Nikon's CLS.

The Nikon Creative Lighting System by Mike Hagen. Includes information using the SB-600, 800, 900, and R1C1 flashes.

Nikon Creative Lighting System Digital Field Guide by J. Dennis Thomas. An older print book, but has some pretty good technical info regarding setup etc.

I'd go with the one by Mike Hagen if I was going to buy only one.

The Mike Hagen book is a very informative book.It is so much easier to read than the manual/book that came with my 900.
