Ready to buy studio lights, but...

David - I am looking at the Elinchrom BXRI 500 kit (Elinchrom | BXRi 500/500 To-Go 2 Monolight Kit | EL 20751KIT) - it looks pretty complete for $1550 including wireless, stands, softboxes, etc.

I got interested after seeing Scott Kelby's review at Scott Kelby's Photoshop Insider Blog » Photoshop & Digital Photography Techniques, Tutorials, Books, Reviews & More Blog Archive Review: The New Elinchrom BXRI-500 Strobes - and I've not heard/read many bad things.

Photogenic makes a great 2 light kit that comes complete with stands, umbrellas and carrying cases etc. I purchased the 1250DR kit, which is the 2 500WS lights, a few months back and have been thrilled with it. These lights also come with the 32 channel PW receiver already built in. So all you'd need to do is spend the money on 1 PW.
