Mine have been great. The cyber commander that I got with them has been a bit temperamental, but has not failed on me ever.

Please fill us in on your experience with the cyber commander. Remote control of power settings is one of the big appeals (to me at least) of the Einsteins.

Thanks!

The CyberCommander works great when it turns on, but there is something odd about mine (I think I got a defective one). Sometimes I have to mess with the sd card in it and push it farther in or take out the battery and reset it. I'm not sure yet if it is something I'm doing wrong or if the unit itself is flawed. But the remote power settings and all that works great.

I think when I purchase my next Einstein, I will also snag a cyber commander. Will be so nice to adjust the power from behind the camera instead of behind the light...

Here's a funny... I originally ordered the Einstein's with a Cyber Command and transceivers for each of the Einsteins. The remotes all came in but the Einstein's never did. I got tired of waiting and sent everything back. A few months later, they called me and said they finally got some Einstein units in so I ordered them again... but without the CC. I guess it's not exactly funny but I wish I had those controller units now. Maybe I should reorder them!

No issues at all. Gives great light at all powers and is very consistent. It would be nice to have the commander since I tend to end up putting it way up high and have to drop the stand down to reach the back if I need to change anything. Then again, I really only have to do that when I'm getting things set up so it's not that much of a problem.

I went with some Fotodiox modifiers and have had no problems with those either. Heck of a lot less expensive than the PCB offerings, and they deliver great light.

Maybe if you use PW, try the MC2 and control much more easily. I had to dedicate hours to figure out the CC.
Unless of course you have different light on each channel
