Did you purchase the Profoto lights already?

Maybe it's not too late =)

I still haven't received any e-mail about my pre-order. It's probably going to be awhile given how many placed their pre-orders.

I was looking at these two days ago, and said that the first run was 100 units, second run was going to be a 1000, and then build in lots of 3000 at a time. It also stated that there were currently 300+ preorders on file, so by today with notification that shipping happened on the first 100, I would bet that the first 1100 are now spoken for.

Shouldn't be too long of a wait I don't suppose, but not sure I want to be an early adopter on a light that had so many issues getting to market.

They are on my list. But I might wait a few months to make sure all the kinks are work out... I have never had issues with there products before, but you never know... They do look great!

Well, I finally "got off the pot" and ordered a few today:

(4) E640 $439.95 Einstein 640 Studio Flash Unit
(4) CSXCV $29.95 CyberSync Transceiver Module
(1) CC $179.95 1 Cyber Commander
(1) 22HG30 $69.95 1 22 in. 30º Honeycomb Grid
(1) HG30 $14.95 30º Honeycomb Grid
(1) PLM86-WFDF $27.95 PLM Front Diffuser Fabric, 86in White
(1) PLM86U-S $74.95 Parabolic Umbrella Silver 86in 16 Rib

Obviously, I ordered a few accessories to take advantage of the 20% discount.

I was pretty much set on the Hensels like Scott has but the specs and raves on these are unbeatable at just about any price point. To add, I loved my White Lightnings so I know for sure I'll be extremely happy with the new strobes.

Now, if they'll just arrive. As of Monday, I will be 100% without (studio) strobes so hopefully, it won't take too terribly long for them to be delivered... or renting I'll be.
