that is the t.5 duration ... the t.1 duration is what you need to look at for stopping motion. The WL 1600 is 1/2000 t.1 at 1/4 power.
the Einstein t.1 at 1/2 power is 1/2000 (As far as sport is concerned 1/2 power is more typical for me ) The Einstein should be a great upgrade for those of us that use strobes for sports.
Add the Cyber commander which allows you to adjust power once they are placed on location and its a steal IMO
Wil, great job with your write-up. I did have color issues with the 1600 mainly, and usually at 1/4 power. BUT this was maybe 1/30 or 1/50 pops and when I was doing large numbers of portraits (100 plus). For everything else the WL were perfect.
