Taking the lighting to the next level. Bought a second light. They're cheap compared to what I really want, but one step at a time.

Be careful with the sync ports - they're fragile.

I have one which I use as a hair light. Nice, but doesn't have the quick release for the rings/reflector. But it does interchange with the rest of the family that does.

I already have one 320 that I've been using with reflectors, flash fill, and by itself. This second one will allow me to work on mastering some other lighting techniques. What I really want is a pair of Elinchrom w/Skyport, digital readout, and a power supply. I think that would set me up for a while.

Congratulations~!

Show us some sample images when you get a chance...I have kinda wanted some modeling lamps (I had only hotlights and a cheap flash) but opted for the 580ex 2 just this month. I got it cause it works great with my 7D...

Hopefully, I'll something to post within the next few days. 580EX works. I use a couple for my Strobist shooting.

Elinchrom w/Skyport wireless and digital readout. Several veteran pros use them, and I've seen them in training videos. Sweet. I'll move up to them in probably 12-18 months.

Nice.
I bought a set of briteks (150s) and couple of shoot through umbrellas to go with my strobe kit with umbrella. Will be using for first real time this weekend. Can't wait to see how things work out.

Hope to see your photos you take with these.
