a 10 foot "antenna mast"

it is basically a one piece ten foot length of rigid pipe that is less in weight than "rigid" conduit but nearly as sturdy.

found one at radio shack (but much more expensive there than most electric supply stores)
http://www.radioshack.com/product/in...ductId=3739599

they usually run in the 12-15 dollar range

Oh. I forgot to mention... we will be placing strips of velcro at the bottom of each panel, so that we can attach crown moulding for a finished 'wall' look. The next thing that we'll be building is a 'platform' of sorts with laminate wood flooring. It will be placed in front of each panel so that we have a nice tailored look if we do full length shots.

Pure genius!I've thought of some pretty complicated setups that would kind of do the same thing... but this simplifies it tons. Thanks for sharing!

Yeah its amazing what a tight budget, and some creative thinking can make up. I'd like to take credit for this idea, but it was ALL BRITTANY! She had the idea, and told her dad what she wanted. He took it and ran with it!

The paper rack was a little simplified from our first idea. The original idea for the paper was to have something along the lines of a rotating weiner roaster. But because of space constrictions with the ceiling fan, we slimmed it down to this..... which works so far. It still takes a little elbow grease to roll up the paper each time its used, but it beats having to change paper rolls on a single rod background stand.

We've got a lot of genius things that Brit's dad has created. Our portable booth that we take to bridal shows doubles as a display area and consultation counter in our studio. And when its time to go to a show, the 8x8 slat wall comes out, the counter folds down, the shelves pack up, and the entire thing fits into a rolling box. It's amazing what her dad can build!
