What do you use to tote your stuff to location? I am looking for something to carry to Westcott 13' air cush. light stands as well as 2-4 WL X1600's preferably on rollers but I refuse to spend 350.00 bucks.

Rolling Kit Cases

I don't want to spend this either.

Thanks,

Sam

have you seen those fold up carts they use at canton trade days? when I have to cart around all kinds of stuff, I put my camera case, purse, reflectors, etc. all in that and wheel around like a bag lady...it's easy..

Used "anvil" type road cases show up frequently on craigslist.

Super heavy duty...lockable...most with casters of some form...some w/ padding...some bare...one of these will probably be my next choice.

concerned more about the actual lights. Really, I'm looking to consolidate cases together with light stands, cords, etc...

Out of curiosity, how much did you spend on your lighting equipment? Think about that and decide if a quality case that will protect it is worth the money.

Yeah, I understand. Just was hoping some of the innovative TPFers had a find.

I use a ATA Golf hard case like the one in the link, I think I bought it at state sale or something like that I end up paying like 40-50 bucks for it. It holds my two Alien Bees B800, Vagabon II, lightstands, two soft boxes and Tripod.

Throw my tripod over my shoulder and everything I need goes into a Lowepro mini trekker, but I shoot nature and travel light...lenses 24, 105, 80-200 or 75-300.

Stanly's makes all kind of great totes, I love there FATMAX I use a mobile studio.... check it out on my site...

I don't know if this might be too much and you could buy 2 of the longer ones for the price of this one...... The FATMAX is $79 but I got mine for $40, BEST DEAL EVER on that thing!

If you go to Stanley's Portable Storage this is all the rolling storage line up they make...

This carries 3 of my lights and all kinds of other stuff that I need.....

Here is my FATMAX PACK....
then I carry a bag with lights stands and the background stand....

later.....
