Alienbee triggering without receiver? - 03-27-2011, 05:25 PM

So i'm having issues with my cactus V4s, and i accidentally figured that the bees can be triggered without having the receiver plugged in on the cable.

I used a long mono cable, and managed to trigger the light just by taping the cable to the transmitter.
On the transmitter. not plugging it in.

wut.

RF interference, i assume?

usually it is static that closes the circuit between the center pin and the outer casing. You can trigger the lights with your bare finger as well.

Nevermind -- I'll take care of it myself!
