For versatility, a mottled gray color can be made to look like almost any color by throwing a gel on a background light(s), and it looks great by itself if you do not want to set up a bunch of lights. I would go 10x12 which can be folded over for a 5x6 if need be. As for the background kit....depends on what you want to spend? On the cheaper side, but with pretty decent quality you can find the RPS kit, or the JTL kit. I have had both, and prefer the RPS. |
