LOVE THIS REMOTE!!!
Just did this test outside.

(cross posting this from another forum i posted it on)

Using 1 Elinchrom D-Lite-4 at max power (400ws)
PW+2 on strobe
PWMiniTT1 on my D700

So.. sun is about 80-60 degrees up from horizon. Camera right, behind fence.

1/500 f/4.5 ISO500

1/1000 f/11 ISO100

Sun is now behind camera, towards camera right. Same elevation.

1/2000 f/4.5 ISO500

1/1600 f/8 ISO100

ffffuuuuu!!!!

Took a little testing to get the hypersync set for my lamps. Here's where i was fine tuning the adjustments.

Thats my laptop screen on the lower right... not the rear curtain. :o

And here's the banding from the rear curtain. Not too bad. :)

Thanks for the info. I'm looking into the minitt1 also
but for 2nd(rear) curtain sync. Do you have experience
in that setup? Like maybe a 1 second shutter?

Daniel,
What settings did you use in the utility? Did you come up with it by try and error? I have been playing with it out of the box and just used the utility to get all the channels and groups figured out. I am using a d700, and I tried it my mini with an Einstein with a PW module just for that. Everything works fine. At 1/400, some times there is banding and sometimes there isn't. My question is what offset are you using for the d700, when you are setting the hypersync. There is reference guide here, but I can't find any for nikon.
PocketWizard - HyperSync

Thanks
Murtaza

The offset is specific to the lamp you're using, not camera so everyone's will be different.

I'll double check it when I get home but for me I had to test it at full power then make adjustments from there in the PW util.

Will start testing mine soon. Shooting with D300 and AB800. This should be very interesting.
