I sold mine a while back, and vowed to never look at that thing again. it let me down on a senior portrait shoot, and it was quite unprofessional looking. I went home and added pc syncs to all of my 580's and shot manual with pocket wizards from that point on.

I can't remeber the last time I even used ETTL at all, I run 98% manual, unless it's just a snapshot, but I usually use a point and shoot for that. I'm not too excited for the release of these, I'm perfectly satisfied with my Pocket Wizards. I even added a sync port to each of my 580's so I wouldn't have to upgrade to the 580 II.
Do you have a Write up on the process of add the sync port to your 580's?

I left them a comment. I am very interested in the product, and I predict it will sell very well. The Jr. Popper is the version I am looking at because I usually manually set my flash, which is what I prefer to do. The only issue I see is that I predict alot of other photographers out there will also have the same product. If they can make a 8 channel version of the Jr. Popper, it would fit my needs perfectly. If I need anything else much more advanced, then I'll use the Pocket Wizards.
