Canon's 2nd curtain sync = fail

This is a discussion on Canon's 2nd curtain sync = fail within the Lighting Discussion forums, part of the Photography Information category; because it can't be done off camera in the traditional wireless way. I welcome Nikon punishment with open arms....

Aside from maybe purchasing the PW Flex TTL system, my creative rear curtain stuff involves firing a mounted 580EX II into an AB800's optical slave.

I've never had a reason to ever use rear curtain before. In the last week I've actually been playing around with it. My friend has a Nikon who can shoot his SB flashes in 2nd curtain, off camera, all day.

Now I have a reason to be jealous.
