Nikon/Off Camera Flash Users, Please Come In - 08-02-2011, 01:25 PM

Ok, I have a problem that hopefully has a simple fix, but I just cannot find it anywhere in the manual, so I am turning to ya'll for help! My d90 has a max sync speed of 1/200, but with the stock flash in the off position, it skips straight from 1/180-1/250. I am using radio triggers and remote flash, and I guess the camera does not recognize that and so therefore skips over the 1/200 mark. I am aware that it is not a big difference, but it is a slight bit more control that I would like to have, does anyone have any suggestions on how to manually switch to 1/200?

I'm fairly certain you need to set Custom Setting B1 to 1/2 stop intervals, rather than 1/3.

Thank you very much Chris, it was already set at 1/2, and I switched it to 1/3 and now it worked fine.

I put it in equipment since it was a question that was solved via camera settings, like I assumed it would be, I just didn't know where to look, my bad, but if you want to just delete the thread to reduce clutter I got the answer I needed
