The T2i has a PC sync port - left side, just above digital out - and there are several wireless hot shoe triggers you can purchase. I don't use too much flash, so I just wanted something inexpensive that would work, so I bought the Yongnuo RF-602 receiver and RF-600 transmitter.
It works great, and I can use it to trigger a small flash, which will then trigger the optical sensors on my studio strobes. Otherwise, the Yongnuo receivers have a sync cable port on them, so you can hook up the receiver to the studio strobe as well.
You can find some reviews of the Yongnuo stuff all over the internet. Most people find their reliability to be totally comparable to the Pocketwizards and other much more expensive options. I like mine. It does what I need it to do.
