help with Sekonic L-358 - 10-15-2011, 03:31 PM

Stupid question:

When I use the ambient mode, hold down the mode button, I can set the F stop setting where I want it to be trigger the meter and the shutter speed displays.

If I try to set the shutter speed and let the meter tell me the f stop it shows frames per seconds rather than T.

How do I get it back to setting T?

Thanks...

You've turned the jog wheel too far counterclockwise and you've gone past the 1/8000th of a second barrier where the L-358 starts reading in movie mode. Spin in back clockwise while holding no other buttons down and you'll get back to shutter speeds.

Thank you, that is all.

On a different note... Does anyone else find the button labels hard to read under most conditions? I think the white on gray was less than a good idea.

Yea, I don't really care for white on grey either. Black would be a lot better for the letters.

Just FYI... I contacted Sekonic about the button labels. They said that the US division agrees and has made the request. We shall see what happens.
