Any experience with using their vinyl backdrop? Price for 9'x20' was not that far off from white seamless paper. Any input is appreciated. | | | | | Sponsored Links | Premium Members do not see Google advertisements. SIGN UP today and help support our community.

Well, the great news is that they are fast to ship, easy to work with over the phone and the vinyl is white. The bad news is that the cardboard core is too small for my expan drive to work with it. Any suggestions on how to re-mount this to work?

It was 86.07 total ($67.50 + $13 UPS + 5.57 Tax). Ordered on Friday and it was here Monday.

How's the thickness? Will it hold up to people walking on it? I'd be concerned by how cheap it seems...

The thickness appears to be ok. I have not unrolled it yet to give it a good stomp though. I'll try to break out my lens to get some closeups tonight.

Ended up ordering some Manfrotto 047 Aluminum Core Tubes and re-rolled the vinyl this week. Had to re-roll it as the first time was a not square on the tube. Second time it was getting better. Not sure if I want to attempt re-rolling it again, though.
My cat decided to sit on the roll and provided enough shaddow to hopefully show the texture of the backdrop material. The vinyl does seem to do a good job with not being reflective.

At the price, it certainly seems worth giving it a try..
