Muslins Too Long - Recommendations - 11-11-2011, 12:32 AM

I have several Silverlake muslins that are 10x20 and are unrully when not in use. They are heavy duty and take a lot of space. I am debating between either: selling them to buy shorter versons of the muslins; or making 2 10x10 muslins and doubling them over when full lenght is needed. What would you recommend. What size do you use?

You should send them all to me and I will replace them with the exact same brand/color in a 10x10 size. :)

^I second that. :)
Muslins should never be too long. You can always shorten them by pulling up the excess and clamping them. It's better to have and not need than to need and not have.
That said, I'd LOVE a 10x20 muslin.

Thank you to bringing me back to my senses.

I had them all hanging with the extra lenght stuck in a box but it was mounding and overflowing. Hard to pull out the tranes that were at the bottom. The kitties also wanted to play King of the Mountain on the box. Decided to go ahead and fold them. The muslins are too thick and stiff to toss in a carry bag. The idea of ready to use anytime will have to be for the seamless only. My steamer died plus I hate to iron anyway... was really hoping to avoid the creases with the muslin track that was installed. I'll have to just plan more for when I use them.

Bob, If you ever want to mix up your backgrounds, you are welcome to borrow mine. I venture to Cedar Park quite often.
