So I read this really amazing e-book by Mitchell Kanashkevich, Seeing the Light. (google it lol or buy it at
Daily Deals for Photographers - PhotoWhoa)
Just wanted to recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn about lighting.
While he's not a household name, as you can see from his photos, his stuff is really good. He also explains things in a way that makes it very easy to follow what he's doing. His book is not just for beginners, but also for very advanced photographers.
Furthermore, he has the idea that you should try to replicate natural light, which is great and its what I also strive to do in my photos.
If you guys buy it, let me know what you think about it. (P.S. the link I gave above is selling it with another book for pretty cheap).
