Kaezi photography? - 12-09-2011, 01:22 AM

I'm looking to try and start my own photo studio. I was searching on the Internet and found a lot of different lighting kits, however, the majority of them either looked cheap or were very expensive. Then I came across kaezi photograph. Check them out at kaezi.com to see what I mean. Their kits are very affordable and seem to offer the most bag for your buck. I was, more specifically, looking at the 2000 watt softbox lighting 10x10 kit. I would like to know if anyone has any experience with kaezi and if they would recommend them. If not, even some input as to what good lighting kits are out there or what your thoughts are on kaezi. Thanks.

I've never personally used kaezi.com, however to stay in their price range, you may want to check out cowboystudio.com. They are a local Texas company and have great customer service. And I've not found anywhere where you can beat their prices.

2000 Watt Photo Studio Lighting Softbox Video Light Kit & 10' x 10' Background Set SB_BG1 - Kaezi Photography

If this is what you are talking about, it is a video set of continuous lighting. You COULD use it for stills, but I wouldn't.

I would start out on Strobist. Go through lighting 101 and lighting 102 before even consider making it a business. He also has a lot of buying guides.

Good luck!

Oh ok. Thanks. What would be te difference between video and photo lighting? I'm trying to just have a studio for my own recreational purposes.
