has any body had this problem ?



am using my 430 ex II as a slave but is not responding to my 580 ex II and when it does the high speed sync sinboil come's on


preaty much tried everything

Maybe taking the batteries out for a few minutes? Perhaps changing it from slave to master, then back to slave?

I already took the batteries out.

and the 430 ex II can only be use as slave , so i can't change that . But i tried it with the 580 ex II and nothing . BUt thanks for the imput :)

sometime when i triger the master the simbol goes away but a few flashes later it will pop up again

Maybe the HSS button is actuating on it's own? If it's not, maybe try borrowing a different 580 and seeing if it's still acting up.

Yeah, I would say come on over, but you're 276 miles away! Only an hour and a half if I hopped on the bike at top speed...
