Thanks for the link. Free info, and a nearly free bounce card. (It looks classier than the Lightsphere, too, right? )

Key in Ragshop in google. It's a craft store like Michaels or Hobby Lobby. http://www.ragshop.com/index_flash.cfm

You can buy this material at any hobby lobby type store. For $2 I made 10 of these bounce cards to give out at a photography meeting.

I like my Stoffen Omnibounce so much that I was going to replace it soon.
I'll definitely try Peter's idea first. I really think it makes a lot of sense, and his tutorial on how to use it is very helpful.
Thanks for the link.... This is the kind of thing that makes TPF tops on my list of forums.

I've seen this before but had forgotten about it. Good stuff. Thanks for reminding me that I need to make some of these.

If you can't find a decent rubber band then I'd encourage you to order them from Peter. I ordered the starter kit and found that the rubber bands alone are worth the price. Plus, I wanted to show him some support for taking his time to do this for those who have more free time than $.

Well, I've used all the devices Peter mentioned and then some. I liked Gary Fong's light sphere, but it is awkward and does not fit my camera bag. I have been looking for something that would work as good but not be so awkward and was thinking about the new "flip card" I saw recently. After watching the vidio, I went to Michael's today and bought one of foam paper cards for about 0.80. Came home and made one of the devices, and guess what, it seems to work just as well as Gary Fongs. I don't have one of the large rubber bands yet, but the ones I have work just fine. I was able to make four of these bounce cards out on one sheet of the foam paper. What a bargin!
