More technology in smaller package = higher prices. Plus, PWs are hard to beat for their range and use and that is why you won't find anything really beating them out of the market since they are so dependable.

I know you already know this, but some don't,

Oh, one more thing.

If you really get into manual flash, get yourself a really good light meter that measures ambient and flash (I have the Sekonic 358). Then you can get yourself some cheap $80 Sunpak 383 flashes and optical slaves and you can trigger a bunch of flashes all over the place with one master and you would only need two PWs (one for your master flash and one for your camera).

The flash light meter really helps you in studio and other portrait environments to see the change from the diffused light to the shadow and where you may want more light and how much.

Yes I need to invest in one of those. Thats the exact light meter I'm saving up for.

I started rewriting some of them. No words, all pictures, and it doubles as a coloring book and there's some puzzles in the back.

For the low low price of 10 easy payments of $39.99.

What can I say I need something to pay for this hobby!!
