I second Aric's statement, make sure you have the firmware 5.0.2 and have the heat setting turned off and the SB900 will be your new fav flash. I got one of the first SB900's with out the 5.0.2 update and sold it after my first wedding, then went out and got the last 4 SB800's that I could find. After a year and a half the firmware was out and I started buying SB900's and have been happy sence. I now have 10 SB800's and 2 SB900's and would never complain about the price or quality of Nikon SpeedLights.

No not at all, I am just a wedding and portait photographer and never had a desire to do the kind of shooting he does. I have much equipment because I have 3 other shooters that work weddings with me and I furnish all equipment and back up equipment. I normaly buy 4 of each item when we need something new. I find that my nearest camera store really likes to see me come in because I do think it is best to shop local. If I listed what the studio has in cameras, lenses, flashes ect. people would think I was collector, but I am just a user. A few of the TPF members have seen my storage, they will agree.

I was just joking. Have you seen that setup he did with like 10 SB-900's where they fired in succession?
