(I'm starting a new thread due to the automerge function.)

Alrighty. Got my mono cords, and we're now in business (my local RS has plenty of them). On to climbing the learning curve!

For anyone who purchases the 320 and PWIIs, you'll need to pick up a cord that has a 1/8" mono plug on each end in order for the two to work together.

Thanks for all the help, guys! I'm sure I'll be posting more questions as I proceed. :-)

I look forward to seeing your progress. One of these days I'll get a light too. I just need to figure out which one is for me.

If you have someone else who might be shooting with you, you can put together a nice little multiple plug outfit for them to plug their trigger into.
If it's PW no need, but I have a second shooter in the studio who uses CyberSnycs and we need to have two receivers on the light.
Since you can just use audio cords, get a 1/8" mono splitter. You can now plug in two different receivers and both shoot.

Tom, did you make one? I have one in my locker at the studio if you ever need it, it has 3 plugs on it.

I use the Photogenic StudioMax 320 with the PWII and it has been absolutely flawless. I've heard a few people complain that the sync port on the 320 can be kind of finicky, but I've had no problems. Of course, I don't think it can compare to having the PW built in (as in my Norman ML400R).

I'll probably make my way toward a Norman or something similar as I get my mind and arms around studio photography. I just had to finally bite the bullet by getting something that I can use indoors, especially during the summer months. The 320 is small and light enough to go on location too, which is a huge plus for me.

Thanks, Tom. Something to keep in mind as I might be shooting with an additional person sometime.
