Three from Mercer Arboretum - 07-11-2009, 03:43 PM

Went to Mercer this morning before it got too hot. Still humid, but not scorching. Managed a few before the professional shooters and their noisy clients arrived. :grin

#1 Bumblebee dozing on white coneflower

#2 Damselfly drying out

Of course I love the damselfly and bee... That red wasp having breakfast is really cool! I found some coneflowers out at BBSP (Nature Center) that I may go work on next week just for grins.

Excellent, Kenny. The bee image is tops. The wasp looks like it is munching on an ant.

Great shots as usual. Love the wasp shot. Damsel fly looks a little bright, but may just be my monitor. I'm not smart enough to calibrate it. Maybe I can get Trey to do it while he's in. Is the wasp on Mexican Milkweed? We don't have that here, but I like it.
