Common Buckeye face photo. - 12-02-2009, 07:07 AM

I made this a few weeks ago in the little prairie area at BBSP. This was as close as I could get to this little butterfly without putting on a tube. It's fun to find them cold and covered with dew because they can't get away and you can get really close and work on them.

Made with D80, Nikkor AF 105/2.8D on a tripod. Exif in place.
