Another sign of impending Spring. - 02-19-2010, 10:44 PM

Found this little plant flowering this afternoon. At first I thought it was False Garlic but the seed pod makes me question that ID.

Canon XSi, Canon 100mm Macro, Canon MT-24EX Twin Lites both heads 1/4 power, tripod. EXIF embedded.

I really like this Tom! Nice BG and sharpness! I can't ID the flower either...maybe when it opens a little more you can get another photo of it.

I can't help on the id either, but I like the image you captured.

I do wonder about when spring will really get here - last night the forecast is for more snow this coming Tuesday (23 Feb) for the DFW area.

My brother owns a feed store and has a calender/almanac that predicted the sub 20 temps at the first of the year in addition to the snow storm last week. It also predicts snow for Tuesday. Damn!!! I personally never left anything in the snow I need to go back and get.

Sounds like the calender/almanac that predictions have been pretty accurate - what's the prediction for the summer (besides hot).
