The moth (the first shot) is an Atlas Moth.. big mother. LOL

I just sent someone TAPC's way.. she was looking for a photo club aimed at amateurs and advanced amateurs.

Thanks Scott...I'm ready for a new year too...this time last year I was already shootin' bugs but we've really had a winter down here this year...I'm chompin' at the bit to get out and shoot.

Nice shots. I am so tired of Winter. Like Jim, I'm usually already shooting bugs by now, but this Winter has been tough. The Jonquils have just started blooming and they're late. I tried to bait some bees or flies or anything with honey the other day and got a big zilch. You'll really like the ring flash but I'm sorry to say it will make you want to step up to a MT-24EX Macro Twin Lite. At least that's what happened to me. Now I never take the ring flash out of the bag.

thanks Tom & Ron. Yes Tom I can not wait for spring. Yes I can understand wanted the MT-24EX Macro Twin Lite. I do want one of those but this ring flash was lots closer to fitting into my budget.
