is there just so much there, making composition hard. For me, at any rate. Don't know how I did here but I will get plenty of chances. Bought a healthy passiflora alata that is now ensconced--and blooming--on a DIY trellis on my patio pergola. Hope you enjoy them.

You're right about how hard they are to shoot. I've tried several times and just can't get anything I've ever liked, but there is a ton of options for sure. These look better than anything I've ever done. I'm going to look for some this year that aren't in the middle of a sticker patch I can work on again....maybe I'll get lucky. Keep messing with them and maybe you'll help me with some new ideas.

Those blooms would be good candidates for stacking.

Thanks everyone, comments appreciated.

@Tom - agree about the stacking, produces lovely results but IMO, it's just too much work.

Yeah its a lot of work, but when you have been in a photography drought like I have, you'll take anything. But "O Happy Day" Spring is here and I have some stuff to shoot. I'm off today and heading out to try and find some willing subjects. Hopefully I'll have something to post this afternoon.

That pergola is going to come in quite handy, Kenny. Yes the Passionflower is a mess to photograph!
