Lots of Vets are on vacation about now and I'm filling in for them. Ah the life of semi-retirement and relief service. Not too bad though. Keeps me out of trouble, but it also keeps me from shooting as much as I'd like. Here are a few from this afternoon.
Canon XSi, Canon 100mm f/2.8 Macro, Canon MT-24EX Macro Twin Lites (1/2 power both heads), tripod, EXIF.
First up is what I think is a Hoover Fly sitting on a Flea Bane Daisy.
Found these two bugs mating on a Black-eyed Susan. Not sure what they are.
Lastly is a Katydid on a Day Lily. | | | | | Sponsored Links | Premium Members do not see Google advertisements. SIGN UP today and help support our community.

Tom, Awesome fly. I am using a borrowed 100 macro and now you mention Canon MT-24EX Macro Twin Lites, macro does not appear cheap.

You have no idea. I'm about to pull the trigger on a MP-E 65mm. Just what I need. I may have to sell my wife to afford my addiction.

Mine too, she is so used to this, I used to bicycle race (7 bicycles) I teach motorcycling (6 motorcycles) and now this "new" hobby. I do not know if she used to it, or "numb" to it.

Mine is very supportive. She enjoys my shots as much as I. She is big into scrapbooking (in fact she is in Arlington at the Scrapbook Convention tonight) and uses a lot of my shots. Been married to her over 25 years. Hard to believe anybody could put up with me for that long.
