Found this male blue dasher quite agreeable to posing for a while. It allowed me to 'take a seat' near its perch, making these shots possible.

They all are so great. I love #3. That extreme close up says it all. what a great job.

The eye detail is superb! Them guys out at the Bend won't let me that close with my 105...they zoom off into the unknown
