First time that I have ever seen a Mosquito Hawk (Robber's Fly) take on a wasp, even if it was a small Yellow Jacket, I was impressed.

Good capture. Seems a bit dark though? Could have used some fill flash.

There isn't much that a robber will shy away from. I've seen them taking down those big bumblebees on the wing. Nice shot, Johnny. Lucky you to find things to shoot. It's been slow here in College Station since the recent cold weather but the hyacinths and daffodils are poking their heads out so it won't be too much longer.
