Are there any good locations (Dallas area) for Insects (Spiders) /Wild flowers for macro or is it too early in the year for that?

Michael, it is getting close,and some of the bugs are starting to still (especially with this week's warm-up), but wildflowers are a month or so off. A good local place (close to Frisco) to check out is Arbor Hills Nature Preserve (Google Maps).

I was look around down here in the Houston area today (BBSP) and not much going on yet, but the good thing is it's going to be in the mid 70's for several days and things should get better quick...By the end of the month it should be starting pretty good down here.

Maples are starting to bud and flower here in East Texas and I'm pretty sure the Bradford Pears are too. I don't have one close so don't know for sure. Also noticed that the Sweet Gum's are budding along with the Cottonwood in my yard. May be others as well, just haven't paid that much attention lately.
