Two from Wednesday afternoon.

Clouds cleared out here in East Texas this afternoon and revealed a real nice afternoon. I got a chance to get in an hour or so of photo safari. I camped out in a patch of Spring Beauties that have bloomed. Several honey bees were present, but I just couldn't get a good capture. I did a fairly decent shot of a fly and one of the many blooms that are prevalent. As always C&C welcomed.

Canon XSi, Canon 100mm f/2.8 Macro, 31mm extension tube, Canon MT-24EX Macro Twin Lites (1/2 power both heads), handheld, EXIF embedded.

I bet it feels good to be out shooting again. Nice work on the fly image. I'm waiting for spring to really start to showing up.

Thanks for the compliments folks and yeah John, it does feel good to hear that shutter clicking again.

You got some nice detail on that fly Tom!! I'll be out at next week to start my macro shootin' year....I'm hoping that the warm weather will get a few of the early wildflowers up..maybe a little early but I can't wait any longer i got to go look!
