This is my first macro image it was made with the 100mm f2.8L IS and the subject is the lens cap I love the detail on the image is just amazing I hope you like it.

Hm, photo looks a little crooked :p

Seriously though, I love that you can see the striations in the "Canon". This lens looks awesome! Now you just need to go find some subject matter a little further from the packaging :) Can't wait to see your future images!

Took many lens cap shots myself. Very sharp. Now get out and shoot some pics to show us.
