Tiger Lily - 06-17-2008, 09:00 AM

I bought my wife a floral arrangement and I decided it would make a good photo subject (while she was at her office). All C&C is welcomed.

nice macro. A bit too saturated for my taste. I'd loose the light green border and stick with just the black. Lucky wife. :-)

has the actual photo being edited? seems a little contrasty? but I like the juxtaposition of the shots.

Crystal, The green border probaly does not help the photo (the print I made did not have any bordering - the border was added only for web posting)

Tina, you will have to post shots of your tiger lily blooms!

Percy, Not too sure what you are asking. Both shots had minimal photoshop work (i.e. levels, curves). The first one I added a contrast level (via making a B&W adj layer and setting the blending to luminosity at about 20%). The second shot had a translucent shade between the light source & the flower and some reflected backlighting.
