Wednesday morning bug hunt. - 06-01-2011, 12:37 PM

Critique: CC:

Got a few but had to fight the wind to do it.

Canon T2i, Canon 100mm f/2.8 Macro, 31mm extension tube, Canon MT-24EX Macro Twin Lite (both heads half power), hand-held, EXIF embedded.

1) Green Grasshopper

2) I couldn't let Garret have all the fun with the Robberflies.

You know what to do.

Sharp images and good lighting, Tom. On the first image, the OOF foreground chopping off the legs is a bit distracting to me. For the second image, maybe a little lower perspective.

Great robber fly shot!

Crickets... blah... I am so disinterested in them... I never shoot them myself.

Nice ones, Tom. Like the robber especially. Sure would be nice to spot one.

I like that Robbery fly!! I haven't really start my hunting this year because of the stinkin' wind down here...but I'm going a few times next week no matter what...I'm getting lazy and feel like I'm missing something...
