Critique: CC:

Been gone for a couple of years, now i'm back. Shot this lil guy here at Camp Stanley, South Korea today. It looks like it's trying to talk.lol

Recently picked up a Nikon D5100 w/kit lens and an AF S 55-300 VR ED to play around with while i'm stationed here. (note to self, need a good macro lens and tripod). I have some learning to do with this new gear. Anyway, today was just a for fun day and I left the camera in the flower mode and shot away.LOL

Get the bleep out, you are in First Sig? First Sig is all over the place, where are you? I'm a 92F (fueler), one of two on Camp Stanley. It sucks being here with no one else with the same MOS.

Thanks John, it's going to take some time learning how to shoot with this 55-300 lens. It's Monsoon season over here and getting good light is at a premium. Trying to find a good macro lens is like pulling teeth here.lol All in good time though. : )

Amen to that. And thanks for your service. From an old Marine, "Semper Fi". Very nice dragonfly shot, James.
