Thanks Jim. I took a card out of your book and was out my door at 6:30am that day I got these shot... needless to say thats not going to happen often.

I tried, Trey. The wind was blowing bad that day, and I was lucky to get that shot as sharp as it is.

I'm usually finished shooting at 9:00 am this time of year...man it's just too hot to be messin' around after the sun comes up...I'm 65 and can't take it like I once did...

Thanks, Ken. My spritely young age of 27 does come in handy in dealing with the heat... still wears me down completely after six hours of trekking around in the unabridged sun shine.

All taken with a Sigma 150 EX DG non-OS on a D7k (and Simga 1.4x tc w/kenko 12mm tube)... although I'd love to get my hands on the new OS or the Nikon 105VR 2.8G lens.
