Yes I am. With the 150mm + 1.4x TC that's a lot of reach on a crop body.

Just trying to understand macro, so maybe you can give me some pointers.

The last image, for example, is that a crop or the full frame?
How close did you have to get to the motif?

That particular image was not cropped. By the looks of it, I was probably 7-9" away from it with the front lens element.
