I made a lens from a binoc 50mm objective lens.I don't have a clue what the power is, the Auto Focus on the camera won't lock in so I'll try a manual focus and the slider tomorrow and see what happens.The lens works fine.I found a stiff black rubber light weight tube that just happened to be the exact size needed,forced the lens in so it was captive ,put a pressure fit o-ring behind it to keep it off the camera lens.It slip fits the lens adapter quite well but I added a little piece of black tape for a safety factor, LOL If I can't get it to focus then I'll shorten the tube and try again.
The lens is used in conjunction with the S3is fixed lens camera........looks decent to me for a first run at,hand held auto focus.
