A couple shady dragons - 09-28-2011, 08:00 PM

Critique: CC:

Well, taken in the late afternoon, shade.

#1 Swift setwing from the rear for wing detail

#2 Roseate skimmer male from the rear because it was down a steep ditch bank

Very nice sir. Those roseates are hard to get the color right if the flashes are JUST right.

Thanks, Garret. I have my D7000 white balance set to Auto1 and let 'er rip. Will occasionally bump the saturation a smidgeon in post but this one is as it was.

Well, just bring your booty up here and I'll try to find you one. You might have a time with where these like to perch, though. It's down a rather steep ditch bank.
